My experience with custom home construction started at an early age as my father was a home builder, and it was he who taught me many skills and valuable knowledge about building homes. I graduated from West Fargo High School in 1997, and then I attended Minnesota State University-Moorhead and graduated with a degree in Construction Management in 2002. I started Bachmeier Custom Homes, Inc. in 2004 with the goal to create quality, affordable, custom homes for people in the F-M area. Currently, I reside in Fargo with my wife Samantha. We generally have one or more MODEL HOMES available to show. This is very helpful when deciding to build a new home, as it can seem overwhelming to select all the materials and finishes when building a new home. You can also touch and see our finished product. You'll see what products and materials are used, so you have an idea how things look and what's included when your house is completed. I can answer any questions about what's used and why and how it's installed. After years of experience and over 100 houses built, I have learned what works in our extreme climate, and how to get the most for your money!!! Bachmeier Custom Homes operates very efficiently, recycle materials when possible, and are extremely environmentally responsible! We use energy efficient products like Anderson Windows, Ultra efficient furnaces (American Standard), insulated basements, and much much more. We have lots available in the F-M area to build your home on. If you see a lot for sale that we do not own, we will work with you to purchase it for your new home

Hello, my name is Chris Bachmeier, and I am the owner and General Contractor for all Bachmeier Custom Home projects. I have lived in the Fargo, ND and Moorhead, MN area for over 28 years.
Bachmeier Custom Homes is many things. We are professional; diligent; reliable; personal; talented and honest. We are a smaller bulder by industry standards, generally 8-12 houses per year. We believe this to be a positive quality. We are able to give each house more attention, with less overhead, while recieving contractor pricing. Which allows us to pass the savings onto you! We are not in business to mass produce cookie-cutter style homes. We design and build each house to meet your needs, style, and expectations. At the same time offering our expertise to enhance what you have already envisioned.
As a custom home builder in Fargo and in Moorhead, we prefer to have the local professional resources available for us to use. However, our partners quality and integrity are second to none, many partners have been working with us for many years!
